Happy Monday! I don’t know about you, but I have been looking for new online learning tools for my crew. I found this list of the 10 best kids' online learning tools. Currently, my crew is pretty close in age but at different learning levels. The twins (P+L) are 5.5; my middle girl (G) is 3.5, and my little guy H just turned 1. I do limit “tablet time” and TV in general, but we selected virtual learning for the fall, so I am on the hunt for things to use more come this fall.
I came across this amazing list from Best Kids Stuff that I thought might be helpful for others out there. I purchased my kiddos these Fire HD tablets a while ago, and they have held up really well. The case is awesome for when they literally throw it on the ground (yes, that happens in my house).
I am about to buy the headsets below as well b/c I think if they are working on different things it will make it easier for everyone to think (by everyone meaning me!). This one is Bluetooth, lightweight, and comes in a bunch of colors for the girls + boys, plus it says there is a 20% off coupon right now- score (when you have to buy 3).
I started using ABC Mouse this summer, and I like that it has content for all the different ages, and I can set up each kid in the account so they see different content based on their profile!
Our go-to is the PBS Kids app (video + games). I LOVE PBS! I am interested in testing out Reading Eggs since the twins are starting to read. I did buy the BOB Reading books recommended to me by another mom and they are GREAT! I got them on Amazon too (let’s be honest, I buy most things on Amazon for the kids). I bought them individually, but I think this pack might be a better option.
Target has some great school workbooks in the $1 section right now too! I have been stocking up for the school year (less printing things out, LOL). Are you going virtual or in person next year?
