April 18th 9-12pm – Basic + Advanced Preview Class
BASIC CLASS – Introduction to Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. You get to play with and experience the paint firsthand. Our Chalk Paint is the #1 in the industry, and there is a reason why! Come and enjoy 3 hours filled with fun and experimentation. This class is in our Rough Luxe warehouse location in Falls Church, just a mile from the shop. In the class, we will learn:
- Paint application technique for Chalk Paint®
- Two-color application
- Wax application, both clear & dark wax
- Distressing for an aged look: wet & dry approach
ADVANCED PREVIEW
In our preview to advanced techniques this month, we will be learning the following:
- Applying gilding wax
- Applying pearl plaster for pearly shimmer
- Dry brushing for added depth and layered interest
All products will be supplied; you just need to bring your creativity! We do not have you bring a piece of furniture because we want you to feel free to play and make mistakes; sometimes those of the best ways to learn!
