Yesterday was pretty exciting; they gutted most of the basement.
After work hubby and I headed to Home Depot to pick out goodies for the bathroom in the basement. I, of course, wanted to do some really pretty stone tile, etc., and he kept saying, “It’s the basement; you can do that when we redo our bathroom.”, bummer, but he is right. I picked out some less expensive finishes but think it’s going to look great. I’ll do a bathroom on a budget post when it’s all done and break down the pricing.
One thing my hubby is really great about is helping people. Last night we were at HD, and the guys needed to break down this mega big pallet of heavy stuff to get to our tiles, and good old James, as usual, was right in there helping 🙂
And finally, this is how I started my day today: 7 am construction crew and a big cup of coffee w/rai at my feet in the office :-) Laura just came over to start working, and I’m still in my PJ’s. Gotta run and put on some clothes!
