Just finished up a long day of picking and am now just trying to get caught up with emails and administrative work for the barn. Highlights for today were...
– the purchase of a very fabulous vintage dress form for a steal!!! We expected to have to pay big dollar for her but no, she was meant to be ours.
– two bolts of burlap arrived to start dressing the barn
– we got our barn t-shirts, hats and aprons
– we are meeting a couple more fabulous ladies at the barn tomorrow to discuss one of them taking our last available dealer spot
I can’t lie, I am exhausted. But I managed to provide my family with a decent meal with the help of a Safeway roasted chicken, whole foods mac & cheese and fresh asparagus….a woman’s work is never done:-)
We are hoping to get a huge wreath tomorrow to be hung on the front of the freshly painted barn….stay tuned for pictures.
