So those of you that swing by the Falls Church shop to buy paint and investigate all of the wonderful treasures at Stifel & Capra may have noticed something new: a very tall and friendly man working. This is the owner, Theresa Stifel’s husband Bob!
For over twenty years, Bob {and Theresa} have hosted backyard pig roasts and BBQs for up to 500 guests and during that time, he developed numerous rubs, marinades and seasoning blends. Now, he is following his passion and has decided to mix up a batch for us to use in your backyard, deck, kitchen or restaurant. And I can’t lie it’s AWESOME!
So far, my hubby and I have used it on Chicken, Pork Chops, and tonight we are trying Salmon. Everything we put it on tastes amazing. I have to say one of my all-time favorite things I had was this yummy dip Bob whipped up and had out for sampling on a First Friday night event. OMG, I could not stop eating it. You can make it at home.
Really Good BBQ Dip
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon Bob’s Best Quality Rub No. 9
Blend together and place in the fridge for an hour. Again, you could eat right away (and you WILL), but it tastes better if it sits a bit.
Bob has a great website and blog where he gives you tips on how to buy meat and all the recipes he come up with for just this one seasoning!
Join us for 1st Friday, September 7th, and you can sample some of the yumminess! Next time you are at Stifel & Capra, pick up some of Bob’s Best Quality {BBQ} and enjoy! It right at the check out counter.
