April 18th 9-12pm – Basic + Advanced Preview Class
BASIC CLASS – Introduction to Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. You get to play with and experience the paint firsthand. Our Chalk Paint is the #1 in the industry and there is a reason why! Come and enjoy 3 hours filled will fun and experimentation. This class is in our Rough Luxe warehouse location in Falls Church, just a mile from the shop. In the class, we will learn:
– Paint application technique for Chalk Paint®
– Two-color application
– Wax application: both clear & dark wax
– Distressing for an aged look: wet & dry approach
ADVANCED PREVIEW
In our preview of advanced techniques this month, we will be learning the following:
1 – Applying gilding wax
2 – Applying pearl plaster for pearly shimmer
3 – Dry brushing for added depth and layered interest
All products will be supplied; you just need to bring your creativity! We do not have you bring a piece of furniture because we want you to feel free to play and make mistakes; sometimes those of the best ways to learn!
