Our before + after this week is from Kathy! She is a stay at home mom of 6, yes I said 6 children. She loves playing with DIY projects at home to give her a creative outlet. This is what she says about the coffee table project she submitted on our website.
A friend gave me her old, well-loved coffee table to do with what I pleased. Because it was so beat up, I knew I couldn’t do a crisp, clean paint job, but instead used the character of the piece to help create a beachy, driftwood-like finish. Using several colors of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, I created the driftwood look for the top, painted the bottom Cocoa, and switched the knobs out for a more nautical look.
