We are getting back to Colorful Mondays / Mixology Monday here at SP. This week on Monday, Heather and I were in the warehouse working on some furniture. We just got this MASSIVE French hutch in and were itching to transform it. I bought it at an auction and loved it, but when it got in the warehouse, we realized she had only 3 legs up front, not 4! She is still super sturdy and beautiful, so we decided to give her a makeover.
Napoleonic blue chalk paint® has been REALLY popular the last couple of weeks, so originally I thought we would paint her in that to match a fun coastal dining set we have but then I just couldn’t help wanting to mix something special up for her. One of my fav mixes is Florence + Aubusson chalk paint, so I decided to have Heather mix Napoleonic + Florence and see what we thought. LOVE! (Yes, that is our table in the back of the warehouse with paint splatter! You can tell we mix a lot of paint).
Heather got going on this big girl, and now we are at the waxing stage. Stay tuned; I’m hoping to finish her today and show after pictures tomorrow!
