FURNITURE PAINTING BASICS – Introduction to our 2 lines of paint: Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan & Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint. These two paint lines have unique characteristics, and this class will allow you to play with each one. This is a two-hour class in our Rough Luxe warehouse location in Falls Church. We will cover:
- Paint application techniques for both lines: Chalk Paint® + MMS Milk Paint
- Discussion of two-color application technique shown using Chalk Paint
- Wax application, both clear & dark
- Best way to buff the wax
- How to distress for a natural aged look
- Discussion regarding pro/cons of the top coat options – wax + poly
You don’t need to bring anything with you, just your creativity!

Price: $125 **includes supplies for 2 paint lines, color cards, handouts, hand-pour paint sample of Chalk Paint OR Milk Paint to take home. You do not get to choose your color it will be selected ahead of time.
