Painted Kitchen Cabinets, French Linen Chalk Paint

Painted Kitchen Cabinets, French Linen Chalk Paint

This week's before and after comes to us from Sara Hollister-Jessick. Sara redesigned her kitchen for her vacation rental house. She painted these 1990’s oak kitchen cabinets with Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan in French Linen. Sara says this project has taken up a lot of time, but she has enjoyed every moment of the project.

Sara sprayed the cabinets with Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan. She used French Linen for the cabinet color and sealed them with General Finishes water-based poly top coat. We love what Sara has done to her kitchen; it’s so fresh and bright. Sara wanted to give her cabinets a neutral look with more depth than white. It was important that the cabinet color pop and blend in with her other furniture. She also painted her bowls, dishes, and trays with Chalk Paint®.
