Monday was a long and drawn-out day. All kinds of hurdles to jump through to finally close on the new house, but FINALLY it’s ours. We had lined up a couple of contractors for today and had to cancel on one due to the issues at closing, but we did get one guy in late tonight. Tomorrow is back-to-back meetings with contractors and the kitchen folks. When we did our walk-through this Monday, it was anything but “broom clean,” but at this point we are just happy to have closed. I posted some pics on FB of the house at the walk-through.
