I adore old trunks and boxes and think they make great coffee tables. I was reorganizing our living room this weekend and pulled out this wood trunk from the basement to use as a coffee table. The size was great but it was a bit too low. so the answer…casters! My hubby helped me attach these great Home Depot casters to the bottom of the trunk, and now it’s perfect!
I often use casters on vintage boxes too for great rolling storage. Happy Christmas Eve for those of you celebrating Christmas!
I moved the coffee table that was here before into another part of the room, and it works great!
