When I first started thinking about the barn concept, I always thought it would be cool to do something different, mainly what I call “raw” furniture- no, that isn’t an industry or technical term, just my way of describing cool furniture with good lines that needs a little refreshing. Then when Yvette and I met, we started brainstorming, and I came up with the name “In the Raw” for the barn; we just loved it. Eventually we decided to not go that route but still love the name:-)
Sooo many of my customers are always looking for raw furniture because they are now using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™. I found a few raw pieces that I thought had great potential and have put them in Stifel & Capra in case you want to paint them yourself.
