The new year has arrived, and it is time to tackle a few of those house hold refresh projects you have had on the back burner. This month we are offering both a basics and advanced class covering our two lines of paint, Chalk Paint & Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint. The classes will be offered January 24th. Seats fill up quickly.
Basic & Advanced Paint Class
If you would like to take both our Basics & Advanced classes on January 24th we are offering a discounted rate of $220 compared to $250 if you take them at different times. We will have a 1-hour break between classes from 12-1 pm.
BASIC CLASS – Introduction to our 2 lines of paint: Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan & Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint. These two paint lines have unique characteristics and this class will allow you to play with each one. This is a two-hour class in our Rough Luxe warehouse location in Falls Church. We will cover:
– Paint application techniques for both lines: Chalk Paint + Milk Paint
– Two-color application
– Wax application, both clear & dark
– Distressing for an aged look
ADVANCED PAINT CLASS
In our advanced class this month, we will be learning how to use the following products:
1 – Dark wax as a stain
2 – Gilding Wax
3 – Restoration Hardware Finish
4 – Layering paint colors
5 – Chalk Paint as a wash
6 – Playing with Pearl Plaster
All products will be supplied; you just need to bring your creativity!
