Well… It’s been about 4 years (plus) in the making, but I finally found the PERFECT retail location in Falls Church City. I’ve always wanted to open a great little shop in Falls Church where I was born and raised, and now it’s a reality. I got the keys last night, and my assistant is in everything…Well… It’s been about 4 years (plus) in the making, but I finally found the PERFECT retail location in Falls Church City. I’ve always wanted to open a great little shop in Falls Church where I was born and raised, and now it’s a reality. I got the keys last night, and my assistant in everything, Laura & my mom helped me start to move in already. We did 3 huge uhaul visits last night.
The location is at 410 S. Maple Street in Falls Church in a development called Pearsons Square. We are just 2 blocks from the current location, Stifel & Capra. The plan is to be open in 3 weeks (ambitious as usual). It’s a 1790 sq ft space and has an urban loft feel, which I love and actually sold me on the space. Most people would have wanted some things finished up and polished, but I like the cement floors and such; I think it adds patina:-)
