I have had this awesome rustic side table for years! I had it in the basement and kept trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it, and then… it was obvious: Union Jack. I have never done a Union Jack mainly b/c it just was such the hype however, I do love it on this guy.
How I did it…I painted a coat of Old White, then taped it out and painted the rest using Napoleon Blue and Emp Silk, all fabulous Chalk Paint™ decorative paint colors by Annie Sloan. I just put it in the shop in Falls Church if you want to go and take a look! I originally planned to heavily distress him; however, the Emp Silk and Old white mix to a pink when distressed, so I decided to keep it clean, and I love it.
