The ability to walk to tons of great restaurants on Maple Avenue and to take part in any of the community-based events Vienna holds is invaluable. Vienna has always been known for having a close-knit kind of feel; you’ll get to know your neighbors and feel “at home” in your community, because you’ll always be hanging out with them!
What kind of community events are we talking about? Well, Vienna is known for its annual Halloween Parade, an event that many neighboring communities show up for. They also host block parties, a Fourth of July parade, summertime concerts in the town park, Movies on the Green, and a whole host of other fun events throughout the year.
Why Buy in Vienna?
If you’ve been on the hunt for homes in North Arlington, McLean, or Falls Church City, you may find Vienna to be a bit more affordable. On average, homes in Vienna go for 10-15% less than homes in these other neighborhoods. For commuters, Vienna offers quick access to commuter routes and to the Dunn Loring-Merrifield and Vienna Metro stations for Orange Line service. Meaning that you can have a great home that’s still close enough to the city to pop in for dinner.
