We are looking for an amazing Assistant Manager who will train to be the Manager. This position is for someone who likes to be in charge of all the things but still enjoys collaborating. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn how a small business runs and enjoys staying busy and multitasking. This position requires a 3-5 days a week commitment and the ability to work some weekend shifts. 2-4 weekend shifts a month ideally.
JOB DUTIES
- Store Operations
- Visual Merchandising
- Staff scheduling
- Hiring
- Keeping shop clean + organized
- Marketing – social media, email, collaborations
- Managing products orders, tagging, tracking
- E-Commerce shop – Shopify
- Manage custom furniture painting process
- Painting furniture (we can teach you)
- Assisting customers with gift buying, color selecting + paint questions
- Managing Etsy page
- Daily communication with customers via email/phone
- Assisting owner in keeping Instagram updated with new inventory
- Working with owner to coordinate some small biz collaboration events + workshops
- Must be willing to work a few weekend day shifts a month
- Must be a problem solver, take-charge person that is flexible and loves to multitask
- DETAIL ORIENTED
We are also looking for part-time creative retail associates (responsible high school + college students welcome) that are interested in Saturday or Sunday shifts and potentially picking up shifts during the week.

- Computer savvy

- Bonus points if you can or want to learn how to paint furniture
